Refund Policy
Refund Policy – Kilimanjaro Transpo Inc.
- Full Refunds for Cancellations (24 Hours Notice):
- Passengers who cancel their booking at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure are eligible for a full refund to their original payment method.
- Cancellations can be made online through the “Manage Booking” section at www.ktranspo.ca or by contacting our support team.
- Partial Credit for Late Cancellations (Less than 24 Hours):
- If you cancel within 24 hours of departure, you may receive a 50% credit toward a future booking. This credit can be used within 60 days of the original travel date.
- Refunds to the original payment method are not available for late cancellations.
- No Refunds for No-Shows:
- Passengers who do not show up for their scheduled ride without prior cancellation are not eligible for a refund or credit.
- To avoid this, please ensure to cancel your booking at least 2 hours before departure, even if it’s last minute.
- Cancellations by Kilimanjaro Transpo (Full Refund or Reschedule):
- If Kilimanjaro Transpo cancels a trip for any reason (such as vehicle issues, driver unavailability, or severe weather), passengers will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule for the next available trip at no additional cost.
- Affected passengers will be notified via email or phone as soon as possible.
- Refund Processing Time:
- Refunds to credit or debit cards will be processed within 5-7 business days.
- Credits for future bookings are applied immediately and can be used by logging into your account.
- Luggage Fees and Refunds:
- Luggage fees are non-refundable once the trip has started.
- If a cancellation is made before departure, luggage fees will be refunded along with the ticket price.
- Lost or damaged luggage claims are processed separately. Passengers must report any issues within 24 hours of the trip’s completion.
- Special Considerations (Emergency Situations):
- In case of medical emergencies, personal crises, or unavoidable circumstances, Kilimanjaro Transpo may offer full credit or refunds on a case-by-case basis. Supporting documents may be required.
