Terms of Service – Kilimanjaro Transpo Inc.

Welcome to Kilimanjaro Transpo Inc. By using our services, including booking rides through www.ktranspo.ca, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. General Terms

  • Kilimanjaro Transpo Inc. provides intercity passenger transport services between Ottawa and Montreal, including routes via Montreal-Trudeau Airport (YUL).
  • By booking a ticket or using our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have the consent of a legal guardian.
  • Kilimanjaro Transpo reserves the right to refuse service to any passenger who violates these terms or engages in disruptive behavior.

2. Booking and Payment

  • Online Booking: Passengers can book tickets online through www.ktranspo.ca using credit or debit cards.
  • Rideshare Option: For rideshare services, passengers can reserve a seat and choose to pay the driver directly at the time of boarding.
  • Payment Confirmation: A booking confirmation will be sent via email. Passengers are responsible for ensuring all details are correct at the time of booking.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations by Passenger:
    • Full refunds are available for cancellations made at least 24 hours before departure.
    • Cancellations within 24 hours are eligible for 50% credit toward future bookings.
    • No refunds are provided for no-shows.
  • Cancellations by Kilimanjaro Transpo:
    • If Kilimanjaro Transpo cancels a trip, passengers will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no extra cost.

4. Passenger Responsibilities

  • Arrival Time: Passengers must arrive at the boarding point at least 15 minutes before departure. Late arrivals may forfeit their seat without refund.
  • Luggage: Passengers are responsible for ensuring luggage complies with Kilimanjaro Transpo’s weight and size limits. Additional fees may apply for oversized luggage.
  • Behavior: Disruptive, abusive, or intoxicated passengers may be refused boarding or removed from the vehicle. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

5. Luggage Policy

  • Standard Luggage: Each passenger is allowed one piece of luggage and one carry-on free of charge.
  • Additional Luggage: Extra luggage may incur fees.
  • Liability: Kilimanjaro Transpo is not responsible for loss or damage to luggage unless caused by negligence. Report lost or damaged luggage within 24 hours of arrival.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • Kilimanjaro Transpo is not responsible for missed connections, delays due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.
  • In the event of an accident or service interruption, Kilimanjaro Transpo’s liability is limited to the cost of the ticket.

7. Changes to Service

  • Kilimanjaro Transpo reserves the right to alter routes, schedules, or pricing without prior notice. Significant changes will be communicated to passengers via email or phone.

8. Privacy and Data

  • Passenger data is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information.

9. Governing Law

  • These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
